seek all mediums of art, for its upcoming juried themed “Juneteenth” Celebration exhibit, at Hanibal-LaGrange University in Hannibal, Missouri June 1, through June 30, 2023..
“Juneteenth” is a holiday celebrated on June 19th to commemorate the Emancipation of Enslaved people in the United States. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, Enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.
TIMELINE
March 15, 2023:
Submit/enter up to three images of art to PortfolioGallery@att.net with title, size, medium and price.
A 40% commission will be part of all art sold during exhibit.
April 20, 2023:
Notification of accepted art. Acceptance/ consignment form emailed to artist. Return form prior to delivering or shipping art.
April 21 through May 15, 2023:
